First day of school

Well here she is -  My 1st grader!   She was soooo happy to see her friends after a long summer apart.  I can't believe how fast they grow up.  It seems just like yesterday she was learning how to walk!

What you can't see in this picture is her first loose tooth.  She's SUPER excited about it.  She's one of the last in her class to finally lose a tooth.  I told her she would probably be late since she didn't get her first tooth until she was 14 months old. 
 

I thought you'd guys want to see what Jinxy was up too while Claudia was at school.
She's also getting big!  She just turned 4 months old.
 

 

She was sooooo bummed.  Her playmate wasn't home.  LOL!   I just bought her a new kitty condo.  As you can see she really likes it.  It faces the backyard where she can see all the birdies and squirrels.

I know I promised more sneak peeks, but I've caught some kind of bug and I've been out of commission these past few days.  I hope you've been visiting the All That Scraps blog to get your fill of this month's awesome releases.

I managed to get 3/4 of my A Muse for sale list done, before I came down with this thing.  And there is a TON!!!  I forgot to mention I will also be including Elzybells and A Muse clear sets too.

If I feel better tomorrow I will try to post it.  There will be plenty to go around.

Sneak Peek?? & an A Muse Sale

Okay, okay so don't kill me.  I don't actually have a card to show you today.   But you can check out the All That Scraps blog to see some samples of the beautiful set Amy created for sympathy cards - Sympathy Sentiments.  There are many heartfelt sentiments included in this set.  I don't know about you, but I never seem to know what to say when I need to send this type of card.  This set takes care of that.

I also wanted to let everyone know that in the next few days I will be listing several of my A Muse stamps for sale.  It's just time for me to downsize my inventory (again).  I will also be selling off my stash of notecards.  I have probably a few hundred stamps I will be listing.  And some have never even seen ink.  So be on the look out for that post! 

Here's an old picture of my notecard storage.  It is now in 2 drawers just to give you an idea!

Eye Candy of a different kind......

Hi gang!  I have a little treat for you today.  Some eye candy from my new little one.  Let me tell you I have forgottenen how darn fun a kitten was.  She is fearless I tell you.  She has adjusted so well to our home.  Pretty much has taken over the place since she arrived.  I'm in awe at how cool she is.  Our 2 other older kitties are another story.  They are not as happy about this ball of energy just yet.

We are showering them with love so they know that they are still our babies too!

Here's Jinxy posing on my craft table.  She was trying real hard to *help* me stamp.  You can kind of see just how small she is as she is sitting next to my little pail of Copics behind her. 

 

And about 5 minutes later....... all tuckered out from helping Mom!

 

Nothing crafty to share (although there are some *clues* on my desk.) Jinxy is conveniently blocking most of it.

But not to worry!  I will have a sneak peek for you tomorrow of one of the new stamps that will released on Monday, August 3rd.

It's a girl!

Yes I'm still alive.  I'm really really sorry I haven't been posting much girls.  But I have a very good reason.  THIS is what I've been up to:

 

Gals meet Jinxy.  Yep I'm a proud new momma!  My DH was having a tough time seeing me so down after losing Alice.  And it was only a year ago that I also lost my beloved Smokey.  Too much saddness around the house.  So when he suggested I go look at kittens to cheer me up I had no idea he was going to let me adopt one!  Seriously this is a HUGE deal at our house.  If it were up to me we'd have a house FULL of critters if my husband wasn't so against it. 

As he says, "I don't want to live in a litter box."    I guess I can't blame him.  We've only ever had 4 cats at one time.  I love it, cause no matter where you are in the house there was usually a kitty to keep you company.  

Anywho, I was there for about an hour playing with a bunch of the kitties.  I hadn't planned on getting a black cat since it would have reminded me of Alice, but when the volunteer handed her to me I started telling her about just losing Alice and of course I started to cry.  As soon as I did, Jinxy began purring louder (she was already purring), nuzzled her little head into my chest and started licking me.  It was like she was trying to comfort me.  It was then that I knew she was the one.  It was almost like Alice sent her to me. 

So that's why I haven't been online.  I'm trying really hard to get back on track.  Thank you to everyone that has continued to stop by during my break.   I will be back tomorrow with another fun sketch for Sketchy Thursday and our featured Sketch Artist!

ATS Wednesday Challenge - Stickles

Yes I'm posting!  Is anybody still reading this thing?   I have been in complete overwhelm these past few weeks.  With not feeling well things haven't been getting done.  You know the housework, laundry, etc.  It takes everything I have just to get to work and that's it.  Now that I'm feeling a little better everything that's been neglected is catching up with me.  Freak out mode 

I just can't do it all and it's so frustrating.  While I don't have a card to show you today I wanted to just pop in and let you know that I'm still here!  I will be back to my regularly scheduled posts starting with Sketchy Thursday tomorrow.  There have been a lot of amazing entries this week.

Still hanging in there

Hi girls!

I've been beating myself up for not posting so much this past week or so.  I'm still not a 100% and what percent I do have I'm using it all to get me through the workday so I can make some much needed $$ for our family.  So nothing crafty to share with you today.  Sorry.   I think I may have figured out what the source of the problem is.  A new medication that may not be agreeing with me.  Let's just say I feel like I have the flu and PMS all at the same time!  Not fun.

I promise I will have our regularly scheduled Sketchy Thursday tomorrow.  So be sure to check back in to see who our next Sketch Artist will be.  Could it be you?  Well it won't be unless you play along silly.

An Award but no card.......

Happy EARTH Day Everyone!      Sorry I haven't posted in a few days.  I've been in a little funk for some unknown reason and that has definitely affected my stamping mojo.  Does that ever happen to you guys?  I really really hate it!  So I hope you don't mind that I don't have anything crafty to share with you today, but I do have an award that Jay Jay  recently nominated me for.  Thanks Jay Jay!
