Celebrate the Season - SSSC293

Happy day after Halloween.  As you may have noticed I took a little break.  I sprained my right hand and wasn't able to color.  Talk about adding insult to injury!  Well I'm back now and I've changed up the holidays to play along with this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch.

 

I turned to my "vintage" stash of Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kits.  I used papers from the kit which features patterned paper from We R Memory Keepers Winter Frost.  I kept true to the sketch using only a few dies - make a snowflake & trim the tree.  Very limited stamping as you can see.  My hand isn't 100% yet, but I was having crafty withdrawals.

May KI & SOTM Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the May Key Ingredients & SOTM blog hop!  This month we are saying welcome to spring with the Bloom & Grow SOTM and it's coordinating die - Hello Blooms!

 

I love, love, love everything in this months' kit.  I know you never hear me say that.  LOL!  But seriously I do!  I stamped the flower and butterfly images using Colorbox chalk inks.  I added some pearls to the centers of the smaller butterflies for a bit of pop.  My favorite is the larger butterfly.  I drizzled star dust Stickles to the center of the wings for fun.

Sweet & Sassy - Whimsie Doodle Sneak Peek

Hey everyone!!!  I've got a very special sneak peek for you today!  You may recall my post mentioning that some of the new Whimsie Doodles will be available in acrylic through Jillian Vance Design?  Well I'm posting one of those images from the soon to be released set Tea & Cookies.

I had several papers from last months Key Ingredients kit - Sew Lovely from Carta Bella.  I just love how these dark blue hues play off this adorable image - Cookie Ashley.
