T.G.I.F. everyone!!! I'm so happy you stopped by.  I hope your week has been a good one and that your weekend will be even better!  Unfortunately as I predicted in an earlier post, this week has been pretty brutal (work wise).   Although I did have a pleasant and unexpected break on Wednesday.  I spent my work day at a S.F. Giants game with our sales dept!  Talk about fun in the sun.  Too bad the boys lost.   For you local peeps, if you're ever in San Francisco, I highly recommend Pete's Tavern right across from AT&T Park.  YUMM-O!!

So now the real reason you're here.  You didn't want to hear about my crazy work week.  LOL!  Today I'm sharing with you another adorable new image from C.C. Designs.  This is Pinwheel Birgitta and you can find her and the entire July release from C.C. Designs (formerly All That Scraps) >>> here<<<   All of the images are a must have and don't forget about the coordinating dies!  Yep, it's all about the dies.   I used more paper from Carta Bella's Cool Summer which I used as my source of inspiration for the colors and layout.  For a complete list of products used, please scroll to the bottom of the page.

C.C. Designs Sneak Peeks - Watermelon Abigail

Hey there!!  If I sound a little *happy* it's because today is sneak peek day for C.C. Designs (formerly All That Scraps) and it's a short work week.  Double bonus!  As always Christine has a fantastic line up for July and this is just a tiny peek of the cuteness headed to the store July 4th at 9:00 CST.

I actually snuck in two other sets into this card - AmyR Summer Sweet Sentiments and Webbie's Words Ants Go Marching.  Can you guess which is which?  LOL! 

 

My layout is pretty simple.  I used paper from Doodlebug Designs Fruitstand to add some fun bright pops of color.  I had fun coloring her with my trusty Copics onto Copic X-Press It paper.  If you haven't ever tried it I highly recommend it.  It makes coloring your images easy peasy.   Christine carries it in the store and in case you haven't stopped by in a while then you need to check out the NEW ITEMS section!  She has the store jam packed with new goodies to get your inky little hands on!

All That Scraps - June release preview

Good Morning!!  Did everyone have a good weekend?  After having that extra day last weekend, this one seemed to fly by in a blink.  Not fun!   It's a good think I have something fun to post today.   The June release for All That Scraps is HUGE!  It was difficult narrowing down which image to play with first.  This adorable Birgitta with popsicle clearly won my inky little heart. 

 

I had so much fun coloring up this cutie.  I used more paper from Carta Bella's Cool Summer collection.  I LOVE this paper!!  I think I have to pick up an extra.... you know just in case.  LOL!  I also used my newest Dienamics Blueprints to help me with my layout.

Tiddly Inks in da house!

Hi there!  I'm so excited about today's post.  I'm debuting a new stamp.  Not a new company, but a new line I haven't had the pleasure of until now.  Did you know All That Scraps sells Tiddly Inks by the amazing Christy Croll?   Yep they sure do!  And if you haven't been by the shop lately, you might want to do that.  Christine has packed the shelves with goodies to suit every crafter.

Can you tell I had a lot of fun with this card?  I used my favorite tools - MFT Blueprints again.  Love, love, love them!  They take the guess work out of your project when your mojo is low.  Christine had also sent me this fabulous twine and patterned paper to work with.  Thanks Christine!  Be sure to stop by tomorrow.  I'll have a final post featuring more samples from the May Key Ingredients Kit & Stamp of the Month!

All That Scraps Review

Happy Happy Wednesday peeps!  I hope you are having a fabulous week.  Mine is just zipping on by.  Lots on my plate at work and home these days, which always makes time fly by.  Luckily I have stamping as my mental and physical therapy!  Today I'm featuring one of the new images from the May release from All That Scraps.  You can view all the new images/dies from the May release HERE. 

This cutie is May Day Birgitta.   I love coloring the Swiss Pixies red heads, because they just look so darn cute!  I use the following Copics when coloring my red heads - YR14, E09, YR18 & E57 (in that order).  I used more paper from my May Key Ingredients Kit.  Patterned paper is from Echo Park's Sweet Girl collection.  The dies I used for my flowers and vine are from MFT.

Thanks for the Lift - All That Scraps May Release

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope you are all having a fabulous week.  I also wanted to give you a heads up that I had to turn on my comment validation because I was being over run with TONS & TONS of spam.  So I apologize for any inconvenience when trying to leave a comment.  They are generally light so it shouldn't be an issue.  :-)

I was feeling so happy stamping away this past weekend, that my mojo was pouring out of me faster than I could get the ideas out.  Since this NEVER happens, you can see why I was so happy.  **grin**

 

Today's card features one of Amy Young's sweet sweet Fairwees.  This is Emaline's Hot Air Balloon.  She is no doubt spreading her sweet fairy dust wherever she is.  That's what must've happened to me this weekend.  I had some of her fairy dust hit my stamping room!   Thanks Emaline!!  I cut out the sentiment (also new) from AmyR's Sunny Sentiments and placed them on my clouds rather than stamping them directly onto them.

Aim High with All That Scraps

Good Morning and Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  As usual, it went by in a blink.  I truly wish weekends were 3 days instead of two.  On the positive side, I did feel very productive.  I had a jewelry party on Friday evening.  It was a lot of fun hanging out with the girls and playing hostess.  It's been WAY too long since I've done that.   My weekend wouldn't have been complete without a little stamping time.

 

I decided to "aim high" for my first card and ink up the newest Tumbleweed image(s) Zooming!  Isn't it just adorable?  The layout may look familiar.  I dug back into my bin of cards for THIS card.  I switched it up just slightly.  I love these papers from Basic Grey Shine On.  Included with this image, is the little banner image.  It comes blank and you can add anything inside it.   I used one of the newest sentiments - Sunny Sentiments.  These are both great sets to have, as you can make them very girlie or a bit more masculine.  My card could easily work for either.

Welcome to the All That Scraps 6th Anniversary Blog Hop! I am so excited you could join us. All That Scraps is a fabulous place to find all your stamping/scrapbooking needs. 

 

Where do I even begin?  All That Scraps holds a special place (and always will) in my heart.  I came to know of this wonderful on line sanctuary by way of AmyR's blog back in 2007!   Her blog was my main source of inspiration when I started out and she was always referring to this awesome store where she got all of her goodies.  Naturally I had to check it out.  Needless to say I found anything and everything I could possibly want/need from All That Scraps.  And even better, their shipping was FAST!   Over the years the C.C. Designs line has evolved to include the beloved Sugarplums, Sugar Pixies, Animal Crackers, Beatrice, Kiki La Rue, Tumbleweeds & Meoples (just to name a few!)  I feel so honored to be a part of this amazing team.  And I'm even more excited about the future.

It was nearly impossible to select a stamp to celebrate with today.  I mean seriously pick one?!  This new Sweet November image, Fairwee Piper And Mia Banner Day, was begging to be inked.  I stamped the image on to natural card stock and colored it with my Copics.  I also used the newly released frilly banner die. I paper pieced both banners with a scrap of paper I had sitting on my desk.

All That Scraps April Release!

Good Morning!!  Did everyone have a nice Easter?  We ended up going over to a friends to do a Easter egg hunt.  DD smoked the other kiddos, hands down.  She scooped up more than half of the eggs there.  Now if I can just keep her and my husband from eating all the goodies inside them I'd be okay.  LOL! 

When I got home I whipped up this little cutie.  One of the new Tumbleweeds called Lipstick.   I paired her up with my latest obsession, Die-namics Blueprints 1.  I used one of the many layouts you can create with these dies. 

I stamped her onto Copic X-press It card stock.  After coloring her with Copics I fussy cut her and added some liquid pearls to her necklace and some glaze to her lipstick.  All of my patterned papers are from Echo Park's Sweet Girl collection.  The colors are *super* fun and bright.  I'll admit they were a little out of my comfort zone, but having a layout already in mind, thanks to my Die-namics Blueprints, I was able to put this card together in no time.

I created a card featuring Beautiful Lucy and AmyR's Winged Sentiments.  I stamped both onto Copic X-Press It paper.  I colored Lucy using various Copics. I also used some fun fabric washi tape on my card.  I can see what all the fuss is about.  That stuff is F*U*N*!!   So now for the real reason you all stopped by!
