Last post for Taylored Expressions

Hi everyone!  I hope the start of your week is going well.  I know some kids are off for spring break this week.  Ours actually starts next week.  I've been loving my commute in the mornings though.  I like that they are staggered in our area.

 

 

Today's post is a little sad for me as it's my last day posting as part of the Taylored Expressions design team.  Yes it's true.  Sadly my term has ended.  But as my card indicates I have nothing but LOVE for Taylor and the team!  I have long been a fan of Taylored Expressions and will continue to be!!  My card features the newly released block party - love die.  How fun is this?  I couldn't resist adding rows of clear rhinestone gems to make this beauty pop.  And to finish I tied it up with some gorgeous ribbon.  It looks like a wedding gift to me!

I Love Mew - SSSC262

 

As you can image I was in feline heaven when I saw this adorable set released recently from MFT.  This new set from Birdie Brown - I Knead You is too cute to pass up.  This is just one of my favorite images from the set.

 

I used some natural card stock, also from MFT.  Love this as an alternative to kraft. I forced myself to part with this adorable paw print paper from my Doodlebug Designs stash.  I have been hoarding it for several years, but was more than willing to part with it for my kitty card.

You are Purrrfect Friend

Happy almost Friday everyone!  If you've stopped by my blog anytime then you know aside from stamping I'm crazy for kitties.  So it was a no-brainer when I sat down to play with the new stamps from Taylored Expressions which ones I was going to use first.

Today's card features If Cats Could Talk stamp & coordinating die.  I absolutely love the font of the sentiments in this set.  I punched out an oval and sponged it with some distress ink to ground my kitty.  The image panel and mat were cut out using label stacklets 6.

I went for a CAS layout and used black card stock to make everything pop.  That's all I have for you today.  I hope have a wonderful day!

 

 

LOVE - SSSC261

Are you scratching your head thinking  you're seeing double?  You are NOT seeing double, but you have seen this card before.  I posted it's twin just last week.  I made another one and flipped it for this weeks SSSC.

 

The main panel of my card features this new premium card stock metallic neutrals.  Love, love, love it!  I paired it with the new bold lace cutting plate,Band It 2 and Love You More Stamp & Die Combo.  To complete it I added few wedding sequins for shine!

SSSC260 - Happy, Happy Birthday

Do you believe if you think happy thoughts, they will come true?  I know I'd like to think so!  For today's sketch I decided to turn up the happy with this super fun birthday card.  I mean can you ever have enough birthday cards on hand?  Nope!

Feeling the LOVE with Taylored Expressions

Good morning everyone!  Thanks for stopping by today.  I have another fantabulous project to share with you featuring the March release from Taylored Expressions. 

 

I went outside my comfort zone of pastels and whimsy to create this romantic wedding card.  It wasn't too difficult to do especially since I had all of the right ingredients.  The main panel of my card features this new premium card stock metallic neutrals.  Love, love, love it!  I paired it with the new bold lace cutting plate.  Isn't it just gorgeous?!  Honestly these pictures do not do it justice.

 

For the inside, I used the new In & Out Wedding set.  If you haven't picked this set up, go now.  It's a must have.  The set is extremely versatile and I find myself reaching for it a lot these days.   For a complete list of the products I've used on today's project scroll down to the links.

Taylored Expressions - March Release!

 

Good Morning Crafty Friends!  It's release day over at Taylored Expressions.  And we are celebrating with new sets, dies and several other must have goodies that you will want to add to your crafty collection!  I was like a cat with catnip when I saw the new set, If Cat's Could Talk!

 

I recently picked up this amazing Color Block Cutting Plate and knew I just had to pair these together.  This set has different facial expressions you can put on the cat body and corresponding sentiments!  Isn't that great?!  Too much fun for this crazy cat lady.
