Anyone miss me?  Did you notice I haven't been blogging?  Yeah I kinda fell off the grid there for a bit.  Sorry about that.  I needed a breather from everything.  My husband is still out of work form his surgery.  And as luck would have it just when I slowed down, I got sick!  Boo!  I'm feeling a little bit better, but not myself.  I managed to get this card whipped up before everything fell apart. LOL!

 

I stayed pretty true to the sketch using chalkboard technique for the circle element.  The sentiment is Big Bold Valentine's from Taylored Expressions.  I love these sets.  All paper is left overs from one of my many (giggle) Key Ingredients Kits. 

I can't wait to see what the other gals did with this awesome sketch.  Be sure to check them all out and give them some bloggy love back!!  I hope you will all play along with this great sketch!

I just found your blog and loved your "So many smiles" card. But I can not figure out why you cut off part of the card when you took the photo or when you posted it. I would have loved to see that beauty of a vellum butterfly in its entirety. I wondered what punch you used and other items to make it. I looked back at other postings and cutting off the picture seems to be something you do. Is it because you do not want people to copy you or for some other reason I can not imagine . I hope your husband recovers soon and finds a job. God bless

I love this card. (I say that about all of your creations, but it is true!) The papers just scream 'SPRING' and that in itself makes me happy.
