Howdy everyone! I hope you are all having a good weekend so far. To all you Mom's out there, I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing Mother's Day tomorrow!! I have no idea what's in store for me. I'm usually the planner in our house, so who knows what my family is doing. LOL! I'd be happy if they gave me the day off!
When I sit down to work with Karen's sketches I start with what image will work best for the layout. I went through several of my "never been inked" stamps (hanging head in shame) and decided it was time to showcase the sweet Mavis from Tiddly Inks. I paired her with paper from Echo Park's Sweet Girl. I just love the pop of red on this natural card stock. I paper pieced her dress with some left over scraps. I couldn't resist coloring her bloomers red too.
I can't wait to see what the other gals did with this awesome sketch. Be sure to check them all out and give them some bloggy love back!!
