Happy Super Bowl Sunday! GO 49'ers!!!! Being a native to Northern California, I have a special place in my heart for the local teams. Growing up, I was introduced into the S.F. Giants by my grandparents. They had a love for everything San Francisco, and since I spent much of my time with them before I headed off to school (age 5), I learned all about them. Once I got older, I found I had my own affinity to the other San Francisco team - The Forty Niners. It was the early 80's and they were on fire then. Gee, am I dating myself? Go red & gold. I hope you guys win it today!!!
Okay, now for the real reason you stopped by today..... time for another fabulous Sweet Sunday Sketch from Karen Giron. You can get all the details >> here <<
I've had this Pure Innocence stamp sitting on my desk for a few months now. And I decided it was time to give her some love. I thought with the long rectangle panel in the center MFT PI Picture Perfect would fit perfect. After stamping her on Copic X-press It paper, I colored her up and cut out the image using MFT rectangle STAX dies.
I used paper from MME Tangerine which was part of last September's Key Ingredients kit. See you really do get your money's worth with these kits. They just keep giving & giving! Several MFT purchases ago, I picked up lots of felt. I'm finally putting it to use!! I wanted a soft embellishment to balance out the light colors of the patterned paper. Top it with a Prima wooden button and twine and I think it worked out.
I can't wait to see what the other gals did with this awesome sketch. Be sure to check them all out and give them some bloggy love back!!

Totally adorable, Tracy! Love your paper choices and the paper pieced dress is just too cute. I never seem to have small enough prints on hand when I want to paper pice clothing. :-D
