Hi Gang! I hope everyone is doing well and having a great weekend. I've had a rather eventful week. On Wednesday morning just as I got to work, I noticed the center stone (setting and all) from my wedding ring was G*O*N*E! Needless to say I was a wreck. It was on the ring when I put it on around 6:30 am and 2 hours later it was just gone. I still can't believe it. I was pretty down for the past few days.
Luckily I had it insured and I'll be working with the insurance company to get it replaced. But it won't truly ever replace the original. I'm still holding out that it turns up somehow, either in the car or at home.
Speaking of love, I have another love filled card to share with you today. I figured it rather fitting with this time of year and my absolute love for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketches. This weeks sketch was designed by fellow DT sister, Vicki Burdick. Way to go, Vicki!!
I printed another adorable Valentine image from BLD - Bug & Roo Maggie. I just ♥ her! I tried to combine some traditional with not-so traditional colors for my card. Paired with Carte Bella's Devoted I got just the look I was going for. I also dusted off my Janome sewing machine too.
I can't wait to see what the other gals did with this awesome sketch. Be sure to check them all out and give them some bloggy love back!!

ACK! Losing your diamond is VERY upsetting. I know from experience! Luckily, I found mine and I hope you do too!!
Your card is super duper cute!!! Love those images.....thanks for the reminder I have some saved on my daughters laptop(my old laptop...lol). Should print some today!

Oh no! I lost my diamond from my engagement ring several years ago. Found it again, had it reset, then about 5 years later, lost it for good. Mine was insured as well so I had a new diamond set into my ring but it still upsets me to this day that it is not the original diamond.
Your card for the sketch is awesome! Love it!

OH no!! The whole setting came off? How devastating! So thankful you had it insured, can you even imagine?? Your card is absolutely darling - I love Lori's images and this little Bug & Roo looks so cute popped up on the patterned paper. What a fun card!

I hope your diamond shows up - I accidently flung my rings off my finger once, but was very fortunately able to trace my steps and find them - still remember that horrible, sick feeling when I realized they were gone. You were able to create a delightful card - love the embossed hearts!

So adorable, love that image. I can relate to losing your diamond, happened to me several years ago and it is very upsetting!! I sure hope you find it!
