Good Morning friends!! I hope everyone had a good weekend. We got a little rain here in the Bay Area. Not quite as much as expected, but we'll take what we can get. I didn't do much this weekend. It was kind of nice to just do whatever. I finally got rid of my 10-day headache too. It was a combination of a sinus pressure and a migraine. After a quick trip to Walgreen's, I spoke to the pharmacist and she recommended sudafed and ibuprofen. It worked!
I felt so great yesterday I decided to stamp just for fun. Woo-hoo!! Of course I needed a sketch to help get my creative juices going. I used Jen's SFYTT and this adorable set from TCP called Presto!
I wanted to do a love themed card with a more masculine feel. Thinking ahead for DH and Valentine's Day. **grin** I chose to use some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Love Me collection and grey card stock from SU!
I love the way this turned out. Very different for me as you guys know I'm more of a pastel girl. I couldn't leave the corner without a little something. I ran some of the red card stock through my Cuttlebug using the hearts trio die from TCP. A button and some twine finishes it off.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Recipe:
Stamps: Presto from The Cat's Pajama's
Paper: Cardstock from SU!, TE & Copic Express; patterned paper from My Mind's Eye
Ink: Memento
Accessories: Copics, heart trio die from TCP, twine, button from stash, pearls from Tinla, Cuttlebug embossing folder and dimensionals
This is just a darling valentine and you're right, it does have a more masculine feel! Your "fussy cutting" is perfection!!
