**** Due to my vacation this week I am extending Sketchy Thursday #142 another week*** Yes that's my of saying I didn't have time to whip up another sketch! Sorry!
Hi Gang! Sorry it's been like crickets on the blog this week. I've been BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! I start my vacation next week and as life would have it, I will be starting a new job. Not sure if you guys recall, but my boss left my current company in June and I was sad, sad, sad. Well........ she called me and told me she had an opening and asked if I would be interested in working with her again. After I got over the initial shock, I said... um, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm super excited. Not only will I be working with her again, but it will be a promotion. Something I've been working toward in my career. I still feel like someone needs to pinch me. 
And since I'm already giddy with pre-vacation excitement, how about I announce this weeks featured Sketch Artist? Ladies, please join me in congratulating...........

It's not often when I sit down to design the weekly sketches that I have any idea what you guys will actually do with them. In fact, I'm always amazed at how fabulous they are. You guys truly bring them to life; just as Julie has done with this weeks! Where to begin? Naturally her adorable image from Your Next Stamp caught my eye. But did you see her rockin' panel layers? Love, love, love how she worked these with such fun texture! She uses 2 of my favorite things when I stamp; my Cuttlebug dots embossing folder and sewing. And her color choice would be the topper!! You guys will definitely want to check out her blog Last Minute Stamper. With eye candy like this, it's certain you will find tons of inspiration.
