Yeah!!! It's Thursday! Only 8 more days until I take some vacation time! It's been almost 4 years since I've taken some vacation time off. I'm not counting the time I was out of work because that was just plain stressful. This is bona fide vacation that I've accrued time off for and will get paid for! Thank you God!
While I'm not taking a trip somewhere tropical or romantic, I am very much looking forward to some downtime. I have day trips planned with family & friends and really am just looking forward to relaxing. Which brings me to this week's featured Sketch Artist! (Like that tie in?!) =)
Please join me in congratulating......
JOAN
I have been a long time follower of Joan's and she never disappoints with her fresh and clean style. Joan's use of this fun image with her beautiful coloring is so fun and relaxing at the same time. I just love the pop of purple too. It seems every where you turn lately this gorgeous seam binding is making an appearance. I like how Joan accented her card with hers. And if you love Joan's card as much as I do, you won't want to miss checking out her blog Stamping with a Passion. Be sure to leave her some cyber love too!
CONGRATULATIONS, JOAN on being this weeks featured Sketch Artist!!
I had a lot of fun creating this next sketch. I'm sorry it's so small. I don't know how that happened. And it seems like no matter what size I make it, it comes out the same small size. Technology and I don't mix well. SORRY guys!!
I can't wait to see what you do with the 4 different panels. Will you make them the same? Different? Embossed? Colorful? The possibilities are endless!
Remember, I'll choose the most clever, creative, and cute creation from the submissions this week to be the next Sketch Artist. Your design will also be featured on my blog next week!
You have until next Wed. 8/3 to play along. When uploading to SCS and PCP or or your blog please use keyword ESS141 for the challenge.
Have fun!
Congratulations Joan. Your card is darling. Hope to get to play this week. My sister made an unexpected trip to visit us last week. Had a wonderful time. But no crafting!

Adorable card Joan!!! I have been trying to pick every week who will be featured. I have been right on track so far the past few weeks. I think I overlooked this one.. or did not check in enough. I LOVE the purple and orange and all of the lovely white space.
Another AWESOME sketch Tracy. Hope I get time to play along this week!
HUGS!

Fun sketch, Tracy (as usual.) No Dude Time card this week because their upcoming challenge is a sketch challenge. Maybe I can find time to do one more card with a DTD image for this sketch before the week runs out. :-) Hugz
