Sneak Peeks Day 3 - Honey Teacher

Day 3 and going strong!!!!  Today's post is all about sweetness.  Here is a peek of this month's Honey.... Teacher.  She's her just in time to help you get your little ones or yourself ready for back to school.  While I do love shopping for new school supplies (the smell of new crayons & pencils!) it can be a little overwhelming.

 

It's hard for me to wrap my brain around that in a few more weeks it will be back to school.  Where did the summer go?  Anyone else feel that way?  The sad thing is I don't have anything to show for my summer!  We couldn't plan any vacations with my job being temporary and such.  I've promised my DD that as soon as I get a permanent job we will plan our first trip to Disneyland.  I hate that she's almost 8 and never been. Okay, sorry for the digression.  Back to my card!!

I just love these Honey's.  They are sweet and super fun to color!  Sentiment is from AmyR Autumn Sentiments.

I used a pretty simple layout and just two pieces of patterned paper.  The paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl line.  I used another little piece for her dress to keep it all matchy-matchy.  To make my apple nice and shiny I used my clear glaze pen after coloring it in with Copics.

Oh she's SOOOOOo cute!! Love the shiny apple and I LOVE to go school supply shopping... new pencils, a fresh shiny new backpack, crisp folders, and a whole box of sharpened crayons... nothin better! :) Plus for me, sending a WHOLE host of daycare kids to school and getting my house back!! :) I can't WAIT!! lol... oh and you are going to be mad at me, but I'm going to Disney world the last week in August with my kiddos. We found flights for $19 each direction and a package where the kids park tickets are included free. Couldn't resist!! You definitely need to take her!!

very cute, tracy! i love her little dress and that shiny apple! and look at her star hair clip..stylin! i feel a little sad at going back to school time, but am happy to get my crafting time back (when they're at school, lol!!!) tfs!!

Oh she is just way too cute!! My kids start school on Monday...we meet the teachers today. The summer flew by!
