Sketchy Thursday #78

Welcome back to another week of Sketchy Thursday!  I hope you all enjoyed the sneak peeks this week.   If you haven't had a chance to fill up your shopping cart with all the new April stamps from All That Scraps you might want to do that right after today's post.  Don't forget the Swiss Pixies Limited Edition Spring Set is 50% off right now.  I don't even  have my hands on these yet.  But just wait till I do!!!

Okay let's get this show on the road.  Time to announce this weeks featured Sketch Artist.  This weeks winner is a super lady and amazing crafter.  And I'm *not* just saying that because she keeps me well stocked with pearl embellishments!

Isn't this card just precious?  I really like how she played with the different patterned papers.  And how clever of her to use the dotted wave punch for the grass!!  I love the look on this little guys face too!  Such a fun, "put a smile on your face" card (did you check out the sentiment?) makes this card a winner!  Be sure to check out Tinla's amazing work over on SCS.  Click HERE to access her gallery.

Yep!  Does it look familiar?

It's based on the card I did using the new sets from AmyR:

For me, this layout worked for card without an image.  But I know it will also work for one with an image.  I can't wait to see what you guys will do with it!

As always I'll choose the most clever, creative, and cute creation from the submissions this week to be the next Sketch Artist. Your design will also be featured on my blog next week!

Great choice for the sketchy artist this week....and yes, I do happen to like your card with just the sentiment!

Tinla...congrats, your card is great...I think the pearls should be your "signature item" along with your great eye for mixing and matching patterned paper!
