Is it really Thursday already? I'm so bummed. No more goofing off!! You know sitting around all day eatin' bon-bons and of course STAMPING! Tomorrow is my last day of freedom before I start my new (although temporary) job. JUST KIDDING!!! I am very grateful for the opportunity and am looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting busy.
I wanted to thank everyone for their support and encouragement with my job loss/search journey. I couldn't have made it without you guys!!
I also wanted to thank everyone that played along with last weeks sketch challenge. Lots of entries and new faces! It was awesome. Like Christmas morning for me. I'm easily excited. AND several of you used stuff you already had on hand!!!! Way to go girls. Can we consider this 'green' stamping??
LOL!!! You guys definitely got extra snaps for that!!! Okay, okay enough of my babbling......
This weeks featured Sketch Artist is.................
MARGIE
Isn't this FAB!!!??!! There were so many things about Margie's card that pulled me in immediately. And that sentiment just fit this cutie perfectly!! Did you see that Prima?? I soooo want them. I love how Margie made this non-traditional color scheme 'girlie'. How about her coloring? I know, right? AWESOME!! Congratulations Margie on being this week's Sketch Artist!!!
Be sure to pop on over to Margie's blog, "Oh Bumble It's Me...Margie" to check out her fantastic work!
And here's number 74......
As I always do I turn to my stash of Prisma cardstock. From there I selected some Easter patterned paper I had from Reminisce that I bought last year. Can we say HOARDING!! Some sewing, Fiskars Apron Lace border punch and my nestabilities for my tools. Oh yeah, and a few Copics!! I also added some diamond glaze to my eggs to make them shiny. And thanks to my dear friend Tinla for always supplying me with a nice stash of pearls for the finishing touch!!!
As always I'll choose the most clever, creative, and cute creation from the submissions this week to be the next Sketch Artist. Your design will also be featured on my blog next week!
You have until next Wed. 3/17 to play along. When uploading to SCS and PCP or or your blog please use keyword ESS74 for the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today!!
Hope to play along today! Totally sympathetic on the job hunt situation! Hope your new job is enjoyable!
