Welcome to another edition of Sketchy Thursday! Did you guys have fun with last weeks? Me thinks so. I had a few newcomers and of course some of the regular 'crew'! I had so much fun pouring through everyone's cards. And as it always is each week, picking out just one was no easy task. It was so difficult I actually went through all of the cards more than once! However, I did find myself coming back to one in particular. Ladies this week's featured Sketch Artist is......
-----> LORI <----
Lori seized last weeks sketch with this adorable card....
SUPER fun, right?! Now this is my kind of guy! Eat until you can't move!! I was really drawn to the brown & blue color combo as well as the clean lines of her card. And this sentiment just gave me a good laugh out loud. You can see more of Lori's work on her blog, Lori's Purple Giraffe's. Don't you just
love
that name?
Lori on being this week's Sketch Artist!!!!
Let's bring on the sketch of the week now.......
For this week I was inspired by a gal many of us know her from her confessions of being a ribbon addict. Yes I am talking about the supremely talented Jody Morrow aka Confessions of a Ribbon Addict. I am ALWAYS in awe of what that gal can do with rubber & paper. And don't get me started on her amazing stitching skillz! Get out! What can I say I'm a huge fan of her work!
Here's my sample......
I've had this cutie from Stamping Bella's Ketto line for several months and this is the first time I've had a chance to ink her up. Isn't she fun?! I didn't know I was going to use her for my card at first. I had some sheets of Basic Grey's new Origins paper on my desk that Christine had sent me and it just screamed for me to use this image with it. Thanks for the paper (and the yummy ribbon too) Christine!! The sentiment is from AmyR's Friendship sentiments set. I've been dying to use that one forever to!
Now it's your turn!!!
As always I'll choose the most clever, creative, and cute creation from the submissions this week to be the next Sketch Artist. Your design will also be featured on my blog next week!
You have until next Wed. 2/10 to play along. When uploading to SCS and PCP or or your blog please use keyword ESS69 for the challenge.
Have a fantastic day ladies!!!!
Oh my gosh! I'm totally honored. Thanks for choosing my card!
