Sorry that your New Year's get-together did not go as planned. I hope your next time is much different and you all have a super time!

Tinla

it is so hard when things don't go ahead as planned. i am so sorry about your day. but truthfully, looking at your picture, even i wouldn't have gone down that slope...too steep for me (and i'm surrounded by snow every winter...brrr!!!). i think it is so good of you and dh to explain the situation to claudia (you guys are awesome parents!!)...the driving alone would have made me go over the edge. i hope the next time you go, you will all have a lovely time:) ((((HUGS))))

I've got to tell you, I grew up in the Midwest and I know snow, but you could not get me to go up a hill like that, even a Bunny Hill, then DOWN the hill. Yikes! I think I would have screamed, too! Maybe next time just try a snow angel or something out back. ;-)

Sorry your day was ruined, though. I know how frustrating that can be.

aww man, sorry tracey! from the photo, it does look pretty steep. yikes! we took our kids too to the snow, it's somewhere in san bernadino/big bear and we love that they had sections for kids..4 and under over there, 5 and 10 over here, and so on and son...i'm sure next time will be better since you already know what to expect...big hugs!
