You guys are just amazing. I can't thank you all enough for the outpouring of support I've received from several of you regarding Kitty Bones. I am truly, truly blessed to have such amazing cy-ber-friends. I LOVE you guys!!! 
You will all be happy to know that she came home last night! While she is not out of the woods yet, her fever has come down and she is eating on her own again. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have her back home and sleeping on our bed again!! 
Her platelet count is still very low, which means her blood will not clot. The antibiotics she is on will hopefully help with that. I take her back in on Friday for them to check the count again. All of her x-rays came out great. No cancer or tumors. They suspect this to be viral or possibly an infection from a tick bite. But nothing definite yet on the cause.
The good news continues though. I didn't realize until yesterday, that I have kitty insurance on Bones. When I adopted Jinxy it was already included as part of her microchip and when I called to update Jinxy's owner info to mine, they linked my microchip for Bones and Harley (our other fur baby) up and I bought the coverage for them too. Soooooo Bones' little I.C.U. visit is going to be covered by the insurance! We're only responsible for our small deductible. I had completely spaced that I had purchased this. 
With all of this good juju going around I've decided to extend our Sketchy Thursday #52 celebration for another week! That's right, entries will be open until Wed. 9/23, with the winner being announced on Sept. 24th (my birthday!!!) I will be posting a bonus sketch tomorrow so you guys can play with something new. K?
Thank you again you guys. Your support is so heartfelt and I couldn't be luckier to have such amazing friends. Continue to keep Bones in your thoughts until we get a clean bill of health.

Tracy - this is such good news!! So glad Kitty is doing better and that you have insurance!! Here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery!!

Oh Tracy! what AMAZING, and blessed news! WOOOOHOOO... really happy for ya and your kitty Bones! she sounds like she is on the mends! Prayers still sent your way hoping that she is over this hump soon! (and so great about the insurance, yeah!!!)

Wow, Tracy - what a big scare! I take this story as just one more sign to me that God cares about who/what we care about. Please keep us updated!!
