A Tangled Cupcake Challenge

Hi there!

I've been off line for a few days and I must confess it's been nice!  I've had a chance to catch up with some much needed family stuff. It was really nice to have some down time.  I just came back from seeing High School Musical 3.  Ahhh gotta love Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.  They are the cutest couple ever.  I'm not sure who enjoyed it more DD or me! 

My weekend wouldn't be complete without putting some ink to rubber now would it?   My new Stamp a Sweet Impression set arrived just in time for me to play along with Taylor's Cupcake Challenge.  I only allowed myself to induldge in one of the 3 new sets recently released by Taylor.  Season's Sweetings.  It's simply adorable as are the others. Trust me I want ALL of them!  I'm just watching my $$ cause a few of my favorite companies are realeasing some new sets this week.  A Muse and The Cat's Pajama's to name a few.

Taylor has another AWESOME sketch challenge.  I mixed up my colors a bit.  All paper, ribbon and bling are from Taylor's new Christmas Key Ingredients kit. She has some of the yummiest patterend paper in it.

 

Do you like this holly brad?  I just got these Christmas brads from Doodlebug.  They are too cute.  I actually surprised myself that I parted with one for the card!  I can totally relate to poor tangled cuppie.  I've done this myself more times than I care to admit.  LOL!

The tree stamp actually has a different cuppie with it.  It's a cuppie on a ladder.  I masked it off to put the tangled cuppie next to the tree.  Do you like it?  The base is kraft cardstock.  I'm really loving it for my holiday cards.

Before I sign off I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to congratulate my BFF - Michele Huey.  Michele has been named the Swanky Stamper of the Month over at The Cat's Pajama's.

Isn't this card A*W*E*S*O*M*E*?!?  It is, I know.  I just love it.  Congratulations Michele.  You rock girl.  I've always told you so!!!

As usual, I'm loving your card! And as usual, you are enabling me to buy that stamp set I have been resisting!! I hope to play in your challenge this week if I can get my act together!!! I am headed off to South Beach Miami with a couple of girlfriends on Wednesday.
