Buried in ribbon

Yes that's where I've been.  Not really a bad place to be if you love ribbon.  And I have yet to meet a stamper that doesn't love ribbon.  In fact we hoard it!  Oh the shame.  For those of you wondering what the heck I'm talking about, I am hosting a ribbon share over on the A Muse Addicts site.

Why is it whenever we tell ourselves "I will NEVER" do something we end up doing it?  Does that ever happen to you guys?  What I'm talking about are these Tilda stamps.  Have you seen them?  My LSS carries just about every single one of them.  And I told myself I would NOT get any of them because of the are SUPER expensive.  At least I think so.  Well my DH had some unexpected cash (a friend finally paid him for some work he did in JUNE!). He gave me some to treat my DD and I to lunch and something from the *Fun Store* - that's what my DD calls the LSS.  Isn't that cute?  And she couldn't be more right! 

Well after lunch we went to the *Fun Store*, and I was just drawn to these Tilda stamps.  I picked up this one.  Isn't she the cutest?  Cute yes, but she was also $12.00.  These stamps are unmounted, which made me have to ask why the high price.  Well they come from Sweden.  Any hoo, this one really didn't cost me - it cost DH!  Hey, we have to all justify our stamping purchases, right?  LOL!

Tracy this card just melts my heart. I've been eyeballing these stamps too. We have them at Smudges in MN. There is an additional fee at customs for them so that's why they are so expensive is what I've heard "duty tax?" Wow you are really selling the A muse stamps. I have a lot of stamps I want to part with too. When you have too many (thousands) its no longer fun. Plus I say out with the old and in with the new and bills, bills, and more bills!! I have so much ribbon also. I really love ribbon. I hope you have a great rest of the week. Your card is a masterpiece. I am so proud of you. This is adorable, Tracy! I, too, own 1 Tilda stamp. She is so cute but I had to order mine and yes, with shipping she was quite pricey! You truly made her look like a million bucks with your talent and creativity!
