Magical SFYTT

Good Morning friends!!  I hope everyone had a good weekend.  We got a little rain here in the Bay Area.  Not quite as much as expected, but we'll take what we can get.  I didn't do much this weekend.  It was kind of nice to just do whatever.  I finally got rid of my 10-day headache too.   It was a combination of a sinus pressure and a migraine.  After a quick trip to Walgreen's, I spoke to the pharmacist and she recommended sudafed and ibuprofen.  It worked! 

I felt so great yesterday I decided to stamp just for fun.  Woo-hoo!!  Of course I needed a sketch to help get my creative juices going.   I used Jen's SFYTT and this adorable set from TCP called Presto!

I wanted to do a love themed card with a more masculine feel.  Thinking ahead for DH and Valentine's Day.  **grin**   I chose to use some patterned paper from  My Mind's Eye Love Me collection and grey card stock from SU!

 

I love the way this turned out.  Very different for me as you guys know I'm more of a pastel girl.  I couldn't leave the corner without a little something.  I ran some of the red card stock through my Cuttlebug using the hearts trio die from TCP.   A button and some twine finishes it off.

SFYTT - Witchy Style

I'm back!!!!!  It was so good for me to take a step back and catch my breath this past week.  I probably could've used another, but my Cat's Pajama's order arrived and they were just begging to be played with and Jen's sketch for you to try seemed like just the perfect thing to help me get started.

My friend Tori Wild is Jen's guest this month. And she is always so inspirational I couldn't resist her suggestion to play along!

When I saw the previews for this set I knew she just had to come live with me.  The set is called WITCHY.  Not only is she cute, but she has a KITTY!!!!!   I took a chance and used some of my very new  Spooky Town paper from Doodlebug Designs.  I will have to order more for sure!  This stuff is SUPER cute as everything by Doodlebug is.  I got mine on sale, HERE.  Do you like the cloud dies?  Those are actually from Papertrey Ink and can be found HERE.  I airbrushed them as well as the green background for Witchy.  I'm hoping to get an air-compressor for my b-day (this Friday!!!!!)  Air cans are great, but they go fast and can add up quickly.
