Good Morning!  I hope today finds everyone well.  I for one am glad it's Wednesday.  That means the weekend is in sight.  Today I'm sharing another one of my favorite Sweet November images from the amazing Amy Young!  I recently picked up this MUST HAVE paper pad from MME.  It's from the Collectable collection and it's called Memorable.  Every 6x6 sheet is right up my alley!   

I colored Bonnie with my Copics onto  Copic X-Press It paper.  I then fussy cut her and propped her onto my rectangle layered background.  Once again I used my *new* favorite Natural card stock from MFT.  To add a little depth, I sponged the outside edges with some antique linen distress ink.  I stamped the sentiment C.C. Cutters stackable dies.  I added the pearls to the corners just because.  **grin**

All That Scraps Review - C.C. Designs

Good morning peeps!  Spring is definitely in the air today.  The temps are a little warmer, not much.... but they're moving in the right direction!  I seem to have a little extra pep in my step when the weather is nicer.   Like a light switch I'm going from a Valentine post to an Easter!  In case you hadn't noticed, Easter is early this year.    Today I'm sharing with you one of the newest images (and dies!) just released with All That Scraps. 

I had these Easter basket die cuts I picked up from Taylored Expressions ages ago.  I intended to make favors out of them, but that never seemed to happen.  Flash forward to this past weekend when I was trying to figure out a card for this cutie - Cracked Lula.  Isn't she adorable?  The eggs are also a new die.  I really do like the way this turned out.  I started with a white card stock base and added a layer of pink Bazzill card stock.  The patterned paper is from Jillibean Soup - Southern Chicken Dumpling paper pad.  Everything came together pretty easily after I found the Easter basket die cut and decided that would be my accent to showcase Lula.   I just love this sentiment too.  It's from the new Webbie's Words Spring with a side of Chocolates.

Snowmen Wanted - All That Scraps Sneak Peeks

Good Morning Everyone!  Did you miss me?  I apologize for my unscheduled absence.  Between work and family I just needed to step away from everything else for the moment.  I did have a chance this weekend to regroup and play with the new images and dies hitting All That Scraps this week! 

Do you love the Meoples as much as I do?  Then hold on to your hats.  Because Christine did it again!  She added this super fun Dress Up Snowman set and coordinating die to the Meople family.  The coordinating die lines up perfectly to cut this snow cutie out.  Included in the set are a few different hats, scarf, and sweater!  Can you say, CUTE?!

I chose an out of the box color for my card.  I really really like it though.  The patterned paper is from an older Cosmo Cricket collection.  I played off the colors within it for my layout.   Christine also created this MUST have four seasons fence die this month.  I LOVE this die.  I cut out a piece of kraft card stock with the die to make a wood looking fence.  For my snow, I used sugar Sparkle Fluff.  I do like how it looks.  Want a chance to win this set?  Head over to the ATS blog and enter your name for a chance.  There are several of sets being showcased today.  You won't want to miss seeing any of them.

All That Scraps Review - More Back-to-School Goodness

Hi Gang!  I'm back!!!  Sorry I've been M.I.A.  I've taken a few days off to enjoy some time with my DD before school starts.  We had a great day yesterday at our local amusement park.  She's a little taller than last summer, so we got to try a few more rides.  F*U*N*!! 

This month's release at All That Scraps is beyond cute.  Several must have back-to-school images & dies to get a jump start on my school themed cards for our new 4th grade teacher!  For today's card I used School Lucy, School Logos & Corner Banner Die.  Love, love, love these logos.  Christine added this adorable pencil to the mix to pearch Lucy or Hansel upon.   

I picked up this paper pad from Crate Paper awhile back because I just *had* to have it.  You guys know what I'm talking about.  LOL!  The collection is called School Spirit.  I love how the burnt orange against the black and kraft looks.  Isn't this banner die just fabulous?  It comes with two dies so you can nest/layer them like I did.

Emma Cupcake & DT Call Reminder

Good Morning friends!!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  You may or may not have noticed that I posted both days this weekend! I know.  Don't fall off your chair.  LOL!  In case you missed it scroll down - my first post was for my dear friend, Heather Dennis' Hot Blog Hop for Fresh Brewed Designs.  And the second was my big announcement regarding Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! 

I'm back today with another sweet treat featuring the newly released Sugarplum - Cupcake Emma.  All paper is from last month's TE Key Ingredients kit featuring patterned paper from Echo Park's Hello Summer.  LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this paper!

 

I had so much fun coloring up this cutie.  I used some of my favorites (in addition to the patterned paper) on this card; including fishtail STAX & vertical greetings die-namics from My Favorite Things and Smooch Glitz. After coloring Emma, I fussy cut her and proped her up with dimensionals to my vertical greetings die cut.  As you can tell, I'm having a love affair with these fishtail dies.  Hope you don't mind seeing them.   Another favorite is the Ticket dies from All That Scraps.  I love how Christine has been adding these "logos" to the monthly line ups.  It's a fun twist on using sentiments.

All That Scraps Review - Snorkeling Beatrice

Happy Thursday Everyone!   I have another review post from All That Scraps to share with you.  You may have seen this cutie - Snorkeling Beatrice during the sneak peeks at the beginning of th month.  This is the first time I've had a chance to ink her up.  Let's just say I had a lot of fun creating this card.  

As usual, I started off with a simple base and my usual single sheet of patterned paper.  The orange chevron stripes is actually a reverse side of this yummy paper from Imaginisce. While Beatrice was still in my die I airbrushed some clouds to make my watery background.   I also added some Stickles to the drawn bubbles and for her goggles I coated them with glass effects.  After I adhered my image panel the right side was just too bare.  So I started playing with my bubbles die cuts.  I remembered I has some fun dotted vellum paper stashed in my scrap-booking stuff so I used them for the centers of the bubbles to make them look more life like. 

 

 

I couldn't leave my sentiment unfinished, so I added the last bit to the inside of my card.  Do you like it?

ATS Review - Beachy Beatrice

Wow, where did the time go?!  School is officially out for summer and my kiddo is already driving me over the edge.   Is it me or do they get more difficult to keep entertained the older they get?  Oh vey!   I must admit this school year went entirely too quick.  

By Sunday, I was needing some much needed stamping therapy to get my sanity in check.   Beachy Beatrice to the rescue!  Isn't she just a cutie?! I used a single sheet of patterned paper from Echo Park's new Paradise line.  I tried to play off of the colors already found in it - blue, green & yellow.  My card would not be complete without featuring another one of the new dies just released - C.C. Cutters Shell.  I cut my shell out with some Creamy Caramel SU! card stock, then sponged some distress ink around the edges and finished it off with a good drizzling of Smooch Glitz.
