Hi Gang! I'm melting here in No. California. The last two days have been in the 90's. I don't know about you, but when it's too hot I feel sluggish and a little grumpy. Good thing I've had my hands full with rescue work. I may have mentioned it a few times here, but I do T.N.R. (trap, neuter, release) work with feral cats. Friday we caught two adults and believe one of them to be a mom, because we also spotted 3 kittens. From experience there are probably more out there. Sigh... Since we trapped mom, the kittens haven't come out again and we are desperately looking for them. The elements are always a threat with these little ones. Wish us luck in finding them. I so love them all!
I also love the latest sketch from Karen Giron. Can that girl create sketches or what? I *finally* had the courage to try my hand at a chalkboard type card. And you know what it's SUPER easy. I found a tutorial online and was surprised how easy it was. There are two ways to create it using white ink. For my card today I used some white embossing powder to give it some pop. While the cardstock was in the die I took a white Prisma pencil and drew an outline around the die before lightly sponging some more white ink over the sentiment. Do you like it? I'd love to see what you do with this fabby sketch. You can find all of the details on Ms. Karen's blog.
