Woo-Hoo, it's that time again!! Are you ready for a rockin' new Key Ingredients Kit? Taylor has done it again this month. I'll be the first to admit, I was scared at the thought of using black & white patterned paper. But just check out these POPPIN' colors she's sprinkled in this month's kit. I really surprised myself when I reached and took my mojo by the horns. LOL! I started with choice snow white card stock for my base and added a layer of purple Bazzill card stock. Then I added a strip of this gorgeous B&W paper - from MME Meadowlark collection across the center. Then I cut out additional coordinating strips using varying sizes of the banner stacklets 1 dies and tucked them underneath the center strip.
After I stuck everything down, I cut a small sentiment panel using label stacklets 3 and stamped flower images from Make it Amazing using Lulu Lavender Memento ink. I then stamped the sentiment and butterfly in Tuxedo Black. After cutting the butterfly out with my elegant butterflies die, I dusted the image with some lavender/purple chalk. Easy peasy. This literally took no time to put together.

I'm always on the lookout for great B&W papers, Tracy, and I just might have to buy this kit! It'll be my first one but since I love both the B&W and the bright spring colors, it seems a natural. :-D Love your card, especially the lavender on the image and the color of the CS for the card base. Wonderful !
