Happy Monday!! It truly is a happy Monday. My company decided to give us a few extra paid holidays this year and today is one of them! DD and I have a girls day planned. We both received a bunch of gift cards for Christmas and hope to score some new stuff today with them. While it's been fun "shopping" in my closet again with my old/smaller sizes, it would be nice to have some new items to play with.
Speaking of playing, did anyone have a chance to get a little (or a lot) inky this weekend? I spent much of the weekend relaxing and watching our amazing Forty Niners take it to the Super Bowl. Wooo-hooo!! Today I'm back to share some more Key Ingredients goodies featuring the fabulous Bonjour Couture.
I stamped my image with Memento ink onto Choice Snow White card stock. After cutting it out with the coordinating die, I sponged it with antique linen Distress Ink. I couldn't resist adding a little red bow using bakers twine. I absolutely LOVE the papers included in this collection from Echo Park's For The Record 2. There's truly a print for any card you want to create. I know I'm always telling you guys how much I love my KI kits, so I hope you don't mind me sharing *another* thing I love! LOL! Each month I get to play with items I wouldn't normally try, like these gorgeous resin flowers and washi sheets. Yep. These were a stretch for me and I love that about the KI kits. I get to work outside my comfort zone and it helps me expand my card making abilities. You don't know what you can do until you try!!
