It's time! It's time! Yes new stamps are in da house! And today is just the beginning. There are six releases scheduled for October. Amy has done it again with another fantastic must have sentiments set. Today's card is from the Congrats set. There are 18 wonderful complimenting sentiments included in it.
I realized I had this cutie sitting on my desk for months and I never used her. How terrible is that?! I just love these Gingersnaps girls. You probably can't see from this shot, but I used diamond glaze on her cocktail. It looks really neat in real life.
The card came together pretty easily after turning to my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities. A little ribbon from PTI and some brads and this was the end result. There are so many possiblities with the sentiments from Amy's new set.

I can't tell you how excited I am that the weekend is just around the corner. Yesterday was wicked crazy. 
Did I mention I worked yesterday? Yah, never work on your birthday girls! Soooo not fun!
Thank you to everyone for your birthday wishes. They really made my day extra special!
**Update on Kitty Bones** - She is doing FANTASTIC! Her last blood work up showed that her platelet count is back to normal and she is eating on her own. Vet is convinced it was a virus of some sort and that she should be fine now. She has been acting like her ol self again and we couldn't be happier. 
Thank you to everyone that sent their well wishes and good thoughts. They REALLY helped!
I'm also excited to be able to share a card with you today too! I just love this image from Christine's recent Autumn SugarPlums release. This is Witch Emma. Isn't she just too cute to spook? 
The card came together pretty quickly. I find that happens when 1) I have an image already colored and ready to go, 2) a great sketch and 3) a fabulous ensemble of paper. Now don't get me wrong I need help with this stuff!

<----- (that's me gettin' my happy mail), I trim up the new images, stamp 'em and get a coloring. I think I've mentioned before that this is always a good thing to do when the 'ol mojo isn't cooperating.
For a sketch, I turned to this one from Jen de Muro. In case you didn't know, Jen posts some AWESOME sketches every Saturday. You should check them out if you addicted to sketches like I am!
And lastly for my paper choice, I turned to my newest Key Ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions. Included in my card is the Prism paper and Basic Grey patterned paper from the new Eerie collection. I just LOVE this paper. It's fantastic!
I created the moon behind Emma using some double sided adhesive paper I have and sprinkling it with Dazzling Diamonds from SU! And I just couldn't resist using one of the always perfect sentiments from AmyR's Autumn Sentiments set. I just love Amy's sentiments set. I find myself turning to them all the time.

Happy Friday Everyone!!! Today's review day over at All That Scraps. I am so excited to share a project with you today using one of the newest sets from Christine - Gift It - Halloween Style. This was sooo fun and super easy to make. Awhile back my dear friend Nancy sent me some goodies. Included in my little package was these awesome coasters.
I can't even remember where I had seen this project, so I know I'm not the first to ever try it out. I couldn't resist pulling out one of my favorite Halloween pictures of my daughter. She's about 18 months here. And you can see I *had* to dress her up in a kitty costume. Truth be told, I actually got this as a gift at my baby shower from my step-daughter. Does she know me or what?!
To create this really simple frame, pull out some fun patterned paper. Mine is from Michael's - it's from their Recollections line. I used my mono multi glue from Tombow to adhere the paper. It dries quick and is super strong. For my spider I had to add some Stickles to make it sparkle. And my kitty has some twinkles for the eyes. 
I also used some really, really fun black sparkly fluff all over it. It looks fabulous IRL. I got mine from my latest key ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions.
Here's a picture of the back of the frame. Couldn't resist using my MS drippy goo punch! I sanded all around the edges as well to make it look worn. I hope you like it. This would make a fun gift for just about anyone and could be done for any occasion. If you have any questions let me know.

You guys are just amazing. I can't thank you all enough for the outpouring of support I've received from several of you regarding Kitty Bones. I am truly, truly blessed to have such amazing cy-ber-friends. I LOVE you guys!!! 
You will all be happy to know that she came home last night! While she is not out of the woods yet, her fever has come down and she is eating on her own again. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have her back home and sleeping on our bed again!! 
Her platelet count is still very low, which means her blood will not clot. The antibiotics she is on will hopefully help with that. I take her back in on Friday for them to check the count again. All of her x-rays came out great. No cancer or tumors. They suspect this to be viral or possibly an infection from a tick bite. But nothing definite yet on the cause.
The good news continues though. I didn't realize until yesterday, that I have kitty insurance on Bones. When I adopted Jinxy it was already included as part of her microchip and when I called to update Jinxy's owner info to mine, they linked my microchip for Bones and Harley (our other fur baby) up and I bought the coverage for them too. Soooooo Bones' little I.C.U. visit is going to be covered by the insurance! We're only responsible for our small deductible. I had completely spaced that I had purchased this. 
With all of this good juju going around I've decided to extend our Sketchy Thursday #52 celebration for another week! That's right, entries will be open until Wed. 9/23, with the winner being announced on Sept. 24th (my birthday!!!) I will be posting a bonus sketch tomorrow so you guys can play with something new. K?
Thank you again you guys. Your support is so heartfelt and I couldn't be luckier to have such amazing friends. Continue to keep Bones in your thoughts until we get a clean bill of health.

I absolutely loved all of this week's submissions. We had several Halloween ones - Yay!!! But one in particular caught my eye. It was this adorable Cuppie card from Carrie. 
You guys have to check out Carrie's blog StamperMom23boys to see more fabulous cards from her. I just loved how she adapted the sketch and added some spider webs too! Carrie on being this week's featured Sketch Artist!
