Are you ready for Spring?

I know I am.  I love to see all of the trees blooming and having more day light hours!    Are you guys ready for some more sneak peeks?   Yah I thought you might be.  Today's sneak peeks are from a new Gingersnaps set called Spring Thing.  Christine has done it again with these cuties.  

For my first card I decided to use some of the scenery elements included in the set.  It's hard to tell but I heat set the ink using clear embossing powder.  Not only does it give it a glossy shine, but it also helps control your coloring - keeping it inside the lines. 

I also cut out the adorable bunny and popped him up using a pop dot.

For my second card I couldn't resist using one of the Gingersnap cuties.  I just love the this color combo.  I guess part of me is still stuck on Valentines/Love theme.

Double Sneak Peeks - AmyR & Cookie Crumbs

Yipeee!!!!  It's Friday.  Please let today's work day go FAST!!!!!!!!!!  I want to go home and stamp already.

I wanted to thank everyone for their kind emails and comments regarding my mom.  She looked really good yesterday.  Unfortunately it looks like she will be there through the weekend.  So your continued prayers & well wishes are appreciated.

Now are you ready for some new stamps??????????  I know what a silly question.  When aren't we ever ready for new rubbah. 

Can anyone tell where the new stamp is?  That's right, it's the sentiment.  Amy has done it again with another MUST HAVE set.   This one is called Friends Sentiments and it is packed with a bunch of great sayings.  Perfect for just about any card.    I thought this sentiment was perfect for this little cutie.

And do you see that yummy ribbon?  It's also new.  I ordered it as soon as Taylor listed it in the store!  It's a polyester twill and completely goregous IRL.

Okay are you ready for some sheer greatness?   Drum roll please..........

Here is Rhonda's first card.  24-carrot.  Isn't this the cutest freakin' thing you've ever seen?  Pure genius!!  I would have NEVER thought to do this.  I can tell there will be a mad dash on pearls after this post!    And her large carrot?  SHUT UP! 

ETA:  Rhonda just informed me that she colored these pearls in with her Copics!  Like I said, Genius!!!

Her second card - Sky's the Limit.  I absolutely love how she added the glitter & liquid applique to the clouds.  They just look so pillowy and inviting.    And you see .... more pearls.  Gotta love 'em!

And her last card is toooo adorable.  And darn it I don't have this stamp.  It's going in my next order for sure!!  Her choice of colors is fantastic.  And the scallops - love 'em!  I can never get mine to look like that.  Ohhh if only I could stamp alongside Rhonda for a day!!

ATS Wednesday Challenge - Faux Postage

I used my Shimmers Pearlescent Chalks to shade in the white space around my image.  I used some decorative scissors to cut around the image to make it look more like a stamp.  All in all the card came together pretty quickly.

A kitty kind of cupcake

Yes it's Monday.    Enough said, right. 

I wanted to thank everyone that left a comment or emailed me about continuing Sketchy Thursdays.  I didn't mean to scare anyone.  You DO have up until the very last second of the night before to submit your sketches.  I was just getting nervous when I had only received 1 the entire week.  I am really glad to hear that everyone is enjoying them!  I will continue to host them as long as you guys want.

Inspite of not feeling so great, I did manage to get another card done this weekend.   This one is for Taylor's weekly Cupcake Challenge.  I really liked this sketch because it allowed me to whip out some rubbah I've had for a while that's not seen any ink.

TCP Tuesday - under the wire again!

I just made it under the wire again to participate in this week's TCP Challenge.  I haven't been feeling too good today so I will have to make this post short & sweet.  This week's hostess with the mostess is the awesome Karrie Baker!  Karrie challenged us with a stamp challenge this week.  Use any image that has a cupcake in it.  No problemo, right?  Here's what I came up with.....

 

It's hard to tell from this picture but I did pop up the birthday cupcake by stamping it again on another piece of cardstock and coloring it in.  I also decided to break out my SU! build-a-brad.  Here's a close up of them.

Review Preview - Rockin' Out!

Happy Friday!  It's review preview time over on the All That Scraps blog!  This time it's to showcase another adorable set from Christine.  Can this girl draw or what?  She continues to amaze me at her adorable creations.  I just wish I could draw anything!!!  This is another set that was released this month.  It's called Rockin' Out.

Sketchy Thursday #26

Happy Sketchy Thursday!!!  You guys had me a little scared this week.    I received most of the submissions just last night.  I have to admit just about every week I think about throwing in the towel on the sketch challenges.  But at the same time it gets me to play with my A Muse stamps!!
