Did everyone have a wonderful holiday? We did as well. We decided to only get gifts for the little ones this year - make it easy for a change. Our holiday was quite and VERY relaxing. Just like I wanted it. It's been great to get some much needed rest and a little break from blogging. While I told DH NOT to get me anything he didn't listen. Why should he start now, right? LOL! He really out did himself this year. Just when I convince myself that he never listens to me, he goes and proves me wrong.
Since I've been dealing with my weight (translation = refusing to buy new clothes until I lose the weight), I don't have many items in my closet that I could wear. DH got me some really nice clothes for work - ones that fit! An extremely bold move for a man if I say so myself. He had help though. My darling step-daughter went with him to pick them out. They did good. Now....... if I could force myself to try them on!
Anywho this picture of my DD pretty much sums up our Christmas.............
She's been begging us for a Nintendo DS forever. Well we finally caved. This picture was worth it though!!
So are you guys ready for some stamping now? What a better way to get my mojo flowing agin than to try one of Taylor's FAB'O challenges!
I was totally stressing, cause I don't have a lot of buttons in my stash. Good thing my 6 year old stamps too! She *lent* me this one for the challenge. LOL! I found myself stuck for a sentiment, but then I found these amazing rub ons from SU! that I had laying around. They went on super easily on the ribbon. Gotta love that!
Card Deets: Image by Stamping Bella, cardstock by PTI and SU!, ink by Palette, PP by SU!, paper frills by Doodlebug, ribbon by A Muse and SU!, rub ons by SU!, Copics, Nesties, button from stash.
And before I sign off tonight I wanted to post last week's Sketch Artist winner my BFF from Canada...... TINLA's take on the last sketch for 2008. She ROCKED this sketch. Take a look..........
Thanks for stopping by gals. Sorry to have been away for so long, but like I said it was much needed! I hope you come back soon to visit again. I've been working like made on the next release for All That Scraps. All I can say is you better start saving your $$ now. You're gonna want them all!
